Housing Works – Here you will find information and resources on all aspects of housing services including rental assistance, apartment communities and home buying programs.  We are the local housing authority for Deschutes, Crook and Jefferson counties. We offer the HUD Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, affordable units for rent through our award winning apartment communities, and home ownership opportunities.  In addition, this site will also provide you information on our resident programs that feature asset building, opportunities for kids and family sustainability.
Vida Oregon  – VIDA helps individuals strengthen their financial well-being, households and communities through assets. VIDA supports individuals to build assets by

  • matching participant savings with $3 for every $1 saved
  • providing no-cost financial education and support specific to the asset goal, such as a home
